Original text by the German importer:
The Marriage of Casks range grows with another exclusive bottling! In the series, the independent bottler The Single Malts of Scotland demonstrates its talent for the selection of barrels. The bottler combines Scotch whiskeys and rarities that have matured over many years to create unique single malts in limited editions.
The current bottling is a vatting of five different ex-bourbon barrels from the 1995-1998 vintages. They come from a distillery whose gates have already closed in 1998: Imperial. The Speyside distillery had a turbulent history. During its roughly 100-year existence, it was closed a total of four times. Imperial distillates are therefore increasingly difficult to find.
